Bridges and Battleships

There are many, many things we love about living in London.  One of the biggest thing we love is never-ending list of things to do and places to see all within our own city.  We love playing tourists and taking advantage of all that the city has to offer.  A few weeks ago, we headed to Tower Bridge to check out the iconic London landmark.

You can take a lift to the top of one tower and then walk across via the walkways to the other side.  Not only do you get great views from up high of the river and London skyline, but also great views from below as the walkways are comprised of a glass floor beneath your feet.

After our visit to the Bridge, we headed down the river a short distance to the HMS Belfast, a British Naval battleship that was used for several decades beginning in World War 2.  Interesting to explore but definitely not built for a large, pregnant lady climbing up and down ladders between floors of the ship.
