7:00 am
Party at Ashton's crib! Olivia loves to join Ashton in her bed first thing in the morning so they can play together.
8:00 am
Breakfast time! Ashton has a banana every morning as part of her breakfast. If I don't pace her, she would probably eat the whole thing in less than three minutes. She loves bananas.
Geoff was recently in Houston for work and returned back with special cereal for Olivia. I think this particular morning I had to limit her to three bowls.
9:00 am
Bath time!
10:00 am
Olivia has recently started playing football (we've adopted to saying the non-US term for soccer) with some of her nursery school classmates one morning a week. One of the mums in Olivia's class arranged for the children to meet up with a local children's football coach at a nearby indoor gym. While you don't actually get much football playing with 3 year olds, Olivia loves all the running around and being with her friends.
Why play football when you can stare at the ceiling instead???
This little girl would love to get out with the big kids but instead has to watch from the sidelines
11:00 am
Riding the bus back home from football. The community center where she plays is 2.5 miles from our house and it took us 35 minutes to get home. While I've gotten used to walking and public transportation currently being my way of life, I still frequently miss the luxury of having a car handy to jump into. Especially with two little people in tow in cold, rain and wind.
Yes, of course, she's happy...she's eating!
12:00 pm
Setting off on our daily walk to take Olivia to school. The girls look so happy here that you would never guess 90 seconds before I snapped this they were both in loud tears.
1:00 pm
Playtime with my baby. I love having a little bit of time every afternoon to give attention to only her. She's not walking independently yet, but definitely walking and pushing around anything that moves.
2:00 pm
While Ashton napped, I had "work" to do this day. I recently joined the Board of a local women's social club I'm a member of and am currently co-chairing a big charity fundraising event put on by the club in May. So far, I have thoroughly enjoyed my involvement as I've gotten to meet and make friends with a lot more women in the neighborhood and it's provided me with something outside of my children to take ownership in and provide a feeling of accomplishment.
3:00 pm
One of my least favorite parts of the day is around 3:30. This is when I have to leave to make the walk back up the hill to Olivia's school to pick her up. Ashton is almost always in a deep sleep that I have to wake her up from in order for us to leave. She normally lets me know in a loud way what she thinks about me waking her up.
There's a baby in there somewhere!
The girls miss each other while Olivia is away at school so they enjoy resuming their play when Olivia returns home. This is their latest thing: Ashton pushes. Olivia rides. Lots of giggles and laughter...
...followed by tears from Ashton when Olivia kicked her in the face while climbing off.
Dinner prep. On the menu for dinner: cheeseburger soup. Perfect and delicious for a cold and wet night!
This sweet girl is always finding new things to get into. Although I have to admit, I frequently allow her to be up to no good, sometimes even purposely providing her a means to make a mess, so that I can have a few moments to 1) work on dinner without stepping on someone, 2) go to the bathroom in peace or 3) quickly check/respond to email with limited interruption.

The girls are so cute...what a fun idea to do 12 hours! I feel like I should do that everyday so that when Kris comes home from work and asks what I did, I can show him in pictures :) Miss you guys!
