Observations from Olivia, Edition 3

Wow, it's been awhile since I've had an Observations from Olivia post.  Now that she's talking a lot, she says all kinds of things.  Below are a few conversations we've had recently:

Olivia has gotten into this thing where she will ask us questions she already knows the answer to and then once she gets our response, she'll acknowledge our answer by simply saying "Yes" and then move on to something else.  Here are a few examples:

Olivia to me (while I'm doing the dishes):  Mama, what you do-do (doing)?

Me:  I'm washing the dishes.

Olivia: Yes. (Then runs out of the kitchen.)

Olivia to Geoff (in the morning when he's getting ready for work and I'm still in bed): Dada, where Mama?

Geoff:  She's still asleep in bed. 

Olivia: Yes.

Olivia to me (as I'm walking into the bathroom): Where you going, Mama?

Me: Into the bathroom to wash my hands.

Olivia: Yes.

With the days getting shorter and shorter, the sun doesn't rise until after 7:00 am.  The other day, Geoff had to leave for work early, around 6:45, so it was still dark outside when Olivia woke up and came into our room shortly after Geoff left the house.  She crawled into bed with me and when she realized Geoff was gone and I told her he had left for work, she got quite upset and exclaimed "Dada not go work.  It still night out!".  Yes, Olivia....I'm sure Daddy was having the exact same thoughts as he went to work too.

Olivia and I had the following conversation about Jesus:

Olivia: Where Jesus?

Me: Jesus lives in Heaven and in our hearts.

Olivia: Where Heaven?

Me: Well...Heaven is very far away.  It's up, kind of like in outerspace.

Olivia: Oh!  We get in rocket to go see Jesus in Heaven!
