Observations from Olivia

Olivia loves books.  We read a lot of them throughout the day.  Unfortunately for me, despite our nice little library of books, she likes to read the same ones over and over and over again throughout the day.  And then repeat them all again the next day and the next day.  I recently stumbled onto a hilarious parenting blog and this recent blog post (Learning to Love Books) nicely diagnoses Olivia.  She's in stage 3, approaching stage 4.

Anyways, this particular book is currently in the "<Groan> Not that one again" group of books we are currently reading.

On this particular page of opposites, whenever we got to "Quick feet",  I would add that it was like Daddy, since Daddy is a very fast runner.  She quickly picked up on it and calls out "Dada" whenever we get to this page.

Well, Olivia being the observant child she is, suddenly started pointing at the "Slow feet" guy and yelling "Mama!".  Ahh...how accurate she is.  Or maybe she thinks I just look like that character because with all the sleep deprivation lately, that's pretty much how I think I must look!
