Recent developments:
- Successfully climbs up the stairs with no help from us. She is close to figuring out how to get back down without injuring herself, but hasn't quite gotten the hang of it.
- Loves to baby talk and hear her own voice. Seems like she says Bah, Bah, Bah, Bah... the most right now
- Continues to love all food. We've stopped given her pureed food. She gets little pieces of whatever we are eating now.
- Loves dogs! Anytime she's been up close to them, she giggles and wants to touch them.
- Has eight teeth - four to top, four on the bottom
- Discovered how to open (and empty) cabinets and drawers.
- Easily pulls herself up into a standing position on anything. She takes steps sideways while holding onto the couch, coffee table or her crib and can walk forward while pushing her walker or exersaucer around the room.
- For the most part, she consistently sleeps through the night from around 8:30/9:00 pm - 6:30 am.
- Lately, she's started doing this fake laugh thing. It's hilarious and makes us laugh.
- We started swim lessons a couple weeks ago and Olivia loves the water.
- Gives "five" when holding out your palm to her
