Olivia and "Bob"

It only took us almost six months, but we finally got a baby jogging stroller last week.  One might have assumed we would have purchased one of these a long time ago given Geoff is basically addicted to running.  However, we had decided to wait until Olivia was a little older and could support herself and sit more upright before we shelled out the money for one.  So with her six month birthday just a couple weeks away, we figured it was finally time.   The jogging stroller we got is a Bob brand stroller and so far, it is awesome.   We've gone for several walks to the park and Geoff has taken Olivia for a run on the running trail there.  She loves it!  She enjoys being able to see what is going on around her better and take in her surroundings since she is sitting up.  Yesterday the weather was beautiful so we we headed to the park and decided to see how she liked swinging.  They had a baby/little kid swing to use.  Our nanny told me last week that she had put Olivia in the swing on several occasions and Olivia really liked it so we had to try it out ourselves.  It's so fun to watch her experience something new.  Since we don't have a backyard or really a front yard for that matter, I am very thankful for the park two blocks away and look forward to spending more and more time there as Olivia gets bigger.
