Ashton's 4/5 month update

My little baby is growing too fast!  I can't believe she'll be five months next week.  I absolutely love this stage she's in and frequently ask her if she can just stop growing for a little while.  Unfortunately, she's not complying with my request so I'm trying to just soak it up and enjoy the moments.

Here are some updates on her:
  • She's rolling over.  She goes from tummy to back anytime I put her on her tummy and sometimes goes from her back onto her side and then her tummy.
  • Ashton loves her big sister.  Her eyes just follow Olivia around whenever Olivia is nearby.
  • She has discovered her hands and feet and finds her hands especially yummy.
  • I know I keep repeating myself on this blog, but she really is the sweetest baby and such an easy one.  She rarely ever cries for something that can't be easily fixed.  Olivia was an easygoing baby but I feel Ashton is even more so.  Maybe it just seems that way since she's the second born and we've been through this baby parenting thing once before.  But irregardless, she is one chill baby.
  • She's mastered grasping onto things, which Olivia's hair among other things, can attest too.

  • Ashton still wakes up one time to feed during the night, but she's a quick eater now and usually stays lightly asleep, so I'm not up too long with her.
  • She has fallen into a nice, predictable schedule.  She usually takes two little naps (averaging around 30 minutes) in the mornings.  Then she takes a 2-3 hour nap in the afternoon.  I have successfully gotten Olivia and Ashton on same afternoon nap schedules, which provides me with about two hours every day to get a break and do my own thing for a little while.  Hallelujah for nap time!  She'll then take a little snooze around 7:00 pm before going down for the night around 9:00.
  • I don't know how much she weighs these days, but she's still on the small side.  When I took her in for her 3 month check up, she was in the 9th percentile for weight and 25th for height.  I would expect her still be in those buckets now.  She's finally fitting into her size 0-3/3 months clothes.

Here is a brief video of Ashton demonstrating her cuteness.  Some of the noises heard are from Geoff, but most of them are from her.
