15 seconds

15 seconds....that's about as long as we can leave Olivia unattended and out of our sight these days.  She is on the move.  We use to be able to sit or lay her on the floor and walk out of the room briefly because we knew she would be in exactly the same place when we returned.  Not anymore.  Those days are history.  First she was rolling from one side of the room to the other to get to where she wanted to go.  About a week ago or so, she finally got coordinated enough to master her crawl and now she's off.  The safety proofing of the house has begun: baby gates for the stairs, plugs for the electrical outlets and moving things on the floor to higher ground.

Here are a couple video clips of our mobile baby.

Other recent developments:
- She responds to her name when we call her
- Does not like her bibs and has figured out how to take them off
- She feeds herself bits of food and uses her sippy cup on her own pretty well
- Olivia is a great eater.  She eats anything and everything....which frequently includes things we don't want her eating.
- She no longer likes to be cradled when being rocked to sleep.  This makes me a little sad as it's a reminder that she is a big girl baby now.
- She's got three teeth on the bottom and two teeth coming in on top.  The two teeth on top are not her front two teeth but rather her left front tooth and the one next to it.  I'm hoping her right front tooth is close behind.  Otherwise, we might have a hillbilly baby!
- We have caught her several time STANDING in her bed.  We lowered her crib several weeks ago because she was sitting up and then getting on her knees.  Looks like it won't be long before we will be lowering it again.

One tired baby

Apparently, Olivia was quite bored of her parents' dinner conversation topics of the evening.
